Marquard & Bahls expands Executive Board
Hamburg, September 17, 2008 – In recent years Marquard & Bahls has been growing significantly in both, its existing and new divisions. In view of the increase in workload connected to this growth, the company’s Executive and Supervisory Board have decided to increase the number of Executive Board members from two to a total of four.In addition to Wim Lokhorst (Chief Executive Officer) and Claus-George Nette (Chief Administrative and Financial Officer), two new members have been appointed to the Executive Board: Christian Flach and Gust Spaepen, both have served Marquard & Bahls for many years.
In addition to their new responsibility Christian Flach and Gust Spaepen will remain Managing Directors of Mabanaft and Oiltanking respectively.
This measure will enhance representation of the company’s two core divisions – trading and tank storage – in the Executive Board of Marquard & Bahls in the future.
